My name is Christopher; I’m a husband, father, pediatrician and amateur photographer. For some time now I’ve been photoblogging and writing at Being In Focus. Photodiurnalis is something different. Here I post an image every day, taken that day. The processing is kept to a minimum and, unlike Being In Focus, there is no writing here. This site is just about the photography; I hope to explore some new territory and each day learn something new about photography and myself.

A little about the name:  diurnalis is a Latin word for daily. It is also etymological parent of the word journal.

Most of the images on photodiurnalis have been taken with a Fujifilm Finepix x100. Some are taken with a Canon 50D fitted with either a 24-70 f/2.8L or a 70-200 f/2.8L IS II.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
